Young Entrepreneurs of England is delighted to announce it’s very first mentor, Simon Gardiner.
Simon cofounded Carrington West, which initially began out of a garage in Portsmouth with just 2 people. They now have an amazing team of 78 people and annual sales of over £50m. They have won national awards such as Investors in People for their staff retention, culture, and training systems alongside organisations such as Lloyds Bank. They were also named the “Best Company to Work For in the UK” twice, once in 2016 and once in 2019.

Laura Yeo, founder of Young Entrepreneurs of England, said: “I am thrilled to be partnering with Simon and working together to give unprecedented insight into what it takes to grow a business from the ground (or garage) up.
Simon, co-founder of Carrington West says, “It’s an honour to be working with the Young Entrepreneurs of England to help guide and mentor the start-up stars of tomorrow. I find the energy and enthusiasm of people looking to start or further their journey into the world of entrepreneurship amazing to be around, and it provides me with the extra insight into latest thoughts and emerging technologies”.
